Meet Dr. Vorwaller

Dr. Rachel Vorwaller is thrilled to be a part of the Pine Dental community! As a Lincoln Park native who attended Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School and Francis W. Parker School, she is excited to be practicing in her hometown. From volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, to serving as a City Year teacher, to being a Pediatric Dentist, working with children and their families has always been Dr. Rachel’s passion. With a focus on good communication and prevention, she strives to create a comfortable atmosphere and enjoyable experience for all of her patients and their families. She believes that positive dental experiences at an early age will lead the way for a bright dental future.

Dr. Rachel is a board certified pediatric dentist. She attended Duke University, graduating with a major in Psychology and certificate in Global Health. She went on to receive her DDS with honors from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While at Columbia, she dedicated her time to community service, leading the dental free clinic and participating in global service trips. She was nominated by her faculty and received the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award in recognition of her commitment to the community. Dr. Rachel completed her pediatric specialty training at UIC College of Dentistry, where she served as the Chief Pediatric Dental Resident and concurrently earned her Masters in Oral Sciences, conducting research on developmental dental anomalies. Dr. Rachel is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates, the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Rachel enjoys reading, trying new local restaurants, traveling, and indulging in the latest Netflix documentary. If she’s not in the office, she can be found on the Peloton or out spending time with her family and friends!
